We will deliver woodland activities for health and wellbeing, and volunteer training courses at a number of sites within the rural wards of Swansea, with expected outcomes:
1. Improved management of greenspace sites for biodiversity and amenity value
2. Greater community cohesion and participation through volunteering and gaining new skills
3. Improved health and wellbeing of members of the community with poor health and sedentary lifestyles
4. Improved skills of volunteers, participants and activity leaders
Swansea NPT Forest School will lead on programmes of activities for families with young children, which will focus on physical activity, group engagement in games and skill learning, with an additional focus on nutrition and healthy eating taught mainly through campfire cooking and food foraging.
Wildlife Trust will lead on provision of Agored certified training courses for volunteers, in partnership with Coed Lleol who are registered as an Agored training centre.

I agree with "share the road" but that means cyclists need to share too, and a large minority are quite aggressive to other road users.

I also think reducing the speed limit on the common to 40mph would improve the safety of cyclists in the meantime...
I didn't know the speed limit on Clyne common was different to that of Fairwood. 60 mph is ridiculous! Both commons should be 40mph

The speed limit is 60mph across Clyne Common, it is 40mph on Fairwood Common...

The speed limit on the common is already 40mph. It’s just that a lot of people ignore it. There needs to be some form of speed controlling measures there. I favour electronic number plate recognition to offending motorists.
