Wellington Court (East Cowes) Resurface old park area with grass so children have a nice area to play on
The play park behind Wellington Court was recently removed due to it no longer being safe to use. As you can see from the picture, the concrete flooring that was left behind is uneven. Residents would like to remove this concrete and resurface the area with grass. This means the children in the flats will have a nice space to play and socialize.

Please vote for this project!

This proposal is subject to funding and the amount of residents that are in favor of the project.

The project will cost an estimated £5412

Mary Rose Avenue Green Space Improvement (Wootton)
To improve the green space at the bottom of Mary Rose Avenue. Residents would like to level out the ground so children have a flat and safe place to play. Instead of having steps into the area, a slope would be installed so it's more accessible for prams and wheel chairs.
They would like a picnic bench which is wheel chair and high chair friendly and a bench, both of which is made from recycled plastic. A bin would also be useful if able to find someone that could empty it regularly.

Theres lots of children that live in the area so having a nice green level space where they can play games would be ideal. The green space will be assessable for all so everyone can enjoy being outside.

This proposal is subject to funding and the amount of residents that vote for the project.

The cost of the project is estimated at £5231

The Foyer Allotment Project
The Foyer provides safe and secure accommodation to 46 residents who are homeless or at risk of homelessness and gives individual support, advice and guidance. The service aims to support people to be healthy, happy and develop independent and thriving lives.

The Foyer residents have recently been given an allotment in Haylands in Ryde, which we enable them to spend time outside growing food produce that they can use themselves or donate to local charities.

They would like funding to clear the overgrown allotment, clear the rubbish from the site, cut trees and bushes back, rotavate the soil and lay down a protective membrane so the allotment is ready to plant in the spring.

They would also like a new shed, tools and a water butt.

This proposal is subject to funding and the amount of residents that vote for the project.

The cost of the project is estimated at £4640
