Plastic-free Bishopston
Taking inspiration from Penzance, the first place with plastic-free coastline status, we need to work with residents and businesses in the ward to reduce the use of single-use plastic and aim for our own accreditation!

Keep Bishopston Tidy
When going out for a walk, take a carrier bag with you and pick up any obvious litter you see and leave it at a rubbish bin for collection by the Local Authority

Parking for Bikes
There has been a call for a bike path across the common, a large and expensive project .

Meanwhile, there is no part of Bishopston or Murton that has places to park and secure bikes. These would be particularly useful outside the Joiners / Valley where the current arrangement is all in favour of drivers.

So the places that would benefit from bike parking spots;
• The Day Room
• Murton Post Office
• Pyle Post Office
• The Co-op
• The Valley and the Joiners

And of course;
• The School/s

Cars dominate and rule this village, do you think that could change?
